Here's Teddy at the Father's Day car show at the Museum of Transportation. This is the third year in a row we've gone to the car show on Father's Day, & despite the heat this was the best of the three. The first year he got stung by a wasp on the lip as we were walking in, & last year he was just in a crummy mood. This year was a scorcher--the temperature is 93 right now, but the heat index is 101--but we all held it together & got to see some cool cars, like the 1960's caddie in the picture. We also went on the tug boat you can see in the background, & behind that was a C-47 (DC-3) plane from WWII that Alan was really admiring. Teddy got a nice cold lemonade that he drank down in no time flat.
Teddy made Alan a card & some presents at school that were pretty neat. He also filled out a form about his dad--how much he weighs (100,000,000 lbs), what makes him happy (watching the news), & where he'd like to go for a trip (
Illinois!!).
Right now Teddy is outside "working on a project" with the 5 year old boy next door. This involves the neighbor's dog & a rather big branch off a tree, so I better keep an eye on him.
Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there!
